Whenever the topic turns to Boomers and pop culture or relationships, the producers at “Today” and “Good Day New York” turn to one woman — Susan Silver.

She made her name as a writer for shows like “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Bob Newhart Show,” and these days, she’s just as well known for her adventures in dating.

She documented her journey from searching for Mr. Right to instead looking for Mr. Adequate on her hilarious blog, The Search for Mr. Adequate.

These days, she’s sounding off on everything from her love life to her latest gripes in a series of unfiltered Internet radio podcasts (click here to listen to them).

She’s appeared on the Growing Bolder Radio Show several times, but it’s been a while since we’ve caught up with her. Susan fills us in on what’s been happening in her love life lately and whether a self-admittedly high-maintanence woman over 40 can find love, especially in New York.

Plus, she shares her thoughts on the current state of TV and why she’s been surprised to actually find some new favorites. Find out what they are.
