Do you know what you’re going to do after you retire? One of the best ways to move forward is to give back.

Beryl Wiltshire signed up as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity at the age of 68 doing many things she had never done before. Now, at 71, she is a crew leader and an inspirational role model, having the time of her life helping the less fortunate.

She explains how she went from an office job to working outdoors with her hands nearly every Saturday. Find out why working on the roof is her favorite thing to do and how empowered and free to feels doing it.

Beryl describes how former First Lady Roslynn Carter convinced her she could do Habitat for Humanity, too, and what she wants everyone to know about volunteering, whether you swing a hammer or serve a bowl of soup.
