If you’re on Facebook, over the past few weeks you may have noticed the same story popping into your feed again and again. No one ever knows how these things get started, but once they do, they take on a life of their own.

And that’s exactly how the woman who is featured in this clip found her new career. You might call her an overnight sensation … 50 years in the making.

The clip is called “Don’t Send a Man to the Grocery Store,” and it’s an lough-out-loud funny story from one of our favorite comediennes, the great Jeanne Robertson.
