Tony Dow, aka Wally Cleaver, is now 68 and a successful sculptor whose work has been shown at the Louvre in Paris.
Tony didn’t take up art until he was 56 and up for a role in a TV show.” A 28-year-old executive asked, ‘Have you ever done comedy before?’” recalls Dow, co-star of one of the most classic TV comedies in history (“Leave It To Beaver”). “Well, I sort of looked at him and I thought, ‘Hmmm, maybe it’s time to take the art seriously.’”
