ORLANDO (Jan. 5, 2021) – Jill Middleton, an Emmy-nominated radio and TV producer, has been named executive producer of Growing Bolder Radio. Middleton, a veteran producer with broad experience in radio and television, including an eight-year stint at WESH-Channel 2, will oversee production of two of Growing Bolder’s most successful, prolific enterprises.
Growing Bolder Radio is a fast-paced, entertaining hour aimed at inspiring people 50 years and older to live active lives focused on possibility. Since Growing Bolder, a multi-media company, was founded in 2007, Middleton has helped produce over 3,000 radio programs featuring some of the most popular celebrities, including entertainers, sports champions, best-selling authors and ordinary people living extraordinary lives.
Middleton is also the executive producer of the Growing Bolder Podcast, available via all major popular podcast platforms, including NPR 1, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Play and Apple.
Middleton, a graduate of the University of Central Florida’s radio and television program, won numerous Investigative Reporters and Editors Awards for Outstanding Investigative Reporting while at WESH, an NBC-affiliate.
Middleton has played a major role in the expansion of Growing Bolder. The company now touts a million social-media followers and more engagement on its Facebook page than most major networks. In addition to the radio program, which airs on NPR affiliates, Growing Bolder also has a TV show that reaches up to 85% of all U.S. households, a podcast and a lifestyle publication with more than 150,000 subscribers.

Middleton is known for her charm and tenacity. When Emmy Award-winning actress Cloris Leachman had to cancel due to emergency dental work, Middleton talked Leachman into continuing the interview from a dental chair in Beverly Hills. The entertaining interview was interrupted occasionally so Leachman could gargle and spit!
