Most people cover Beatles’ songs, but a sign that you’ve become a true legend is when the Beatles sing your songs! For Shirley Alston Reeves, founder and lead singer of The Shirelles, she knows just what that feels like.

Reeves and her group found success with their six top 10 hits and sang their way into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with songs like “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” and “Soldier Boy.”

Instead of taking her success and retiring, she’s giving her fans more of the stuff that made her a musical legend. Not to mention, her songs have also been covered by artists like The Mamas and the Papas and Dusty Springfield.

She talks with Growing Bolder about her love for performing and how long she plans on continuing her passion.
