One woman had an idea for a play about a change that every single woman goes through. Her little idea started in a small theater in Orlando in 2001, and today, it’s been seen by more than 9 million people in 60 cities and 12 countries.

Jeanie Linders is the writer and producer of the smash hit “Menopause: The Musical.” She tells Growing Bolder what inspired her to write the play and why she thinks it has struck such a powerful chord with women from all walks of life.

Jeanie has also harnessed the passion of her fans to create Me Magazine and to raise nearly half a million dollars for ovarian cancer research and education. Plus, she’s been able to launch the Jeanie C. Linders Fund, which provides money to help women’s community groups throughout the world.
