Growing Bolder TV: Roz Savage

In

Roz Savage was a management consultant living an uninspired life.

As an exercise one day, she wrote two versions of her own obituary — the one she wanted and the one she was heading for if she didn’t make a change.

So she did make a change. She quit her job and began to row across the ocean. She has now set four Guinness World Records for rowing, including becoming the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans.

She’s also become one of the world’s top environmental advocates, a motivational speaker, and an author who’s new book is called “Stop Drifting, Start Rowing.”

Roz Skypes with us from her home in England to describe how taking the ocean less traveled not only shook up her life, it GAVE her the life she’d always imagined. Find out how she stopped looking for the definition of happiness she’d learned from her parents, school and even commercials and started listening to her inner voice.

She also explains how hard work and determination are the true secrets to luck and success in life. Plus, wait until you hear her story about chatting with the future King of England, Prince William.
