Dominique Browning was a big-time success until, like so many others, she became a victim of the economy.

She was the editor-in-chief of the Conde Nast magazine “House and Garden.” Then, in late 2007, the magazine folded and Dominique was suddenly out of a job. She was in an absolute panic.

Eventually, she found a new way of life and discovered there was a silver lining to the forced change in her life and lifestyle. She writes about her experiences in her new book, “Slow Love: How I Lost My Job, Put on My Pajamas and Found Happiness.”

Dominique shares what can we learn from what she went through and why she thinks we all need to stop rushing through life and start slowing down. She offers tips for simple things you can do each day to better appreciate life.

Plus, find out about her new project, the Moms Clean Air Force, the 100,000-member group she co-founded which fights to protect childrens’ rights to clean air.
