Circle of Hope

Joan Tashbar and Rosa Holloway became the best of friends because of the worst of times. Neither had been given much chance of surviving cancer, but neither had any intention of giving up the fight, either.

As Joan shares with Growing Bolder, “I was not ready to die. I’m still not ready.”

Together, they created Circle of Hope for Cancer Research, Inc., to raise money which supports and funds the work of people who are searching for better ways to beat the disease — in this instance, at the UCF College of Medicine’s Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences.

Come along as Growing Bolder gets an up-close look at the program, and these determined women who are Surviving & Thriving.
