Not only does John "The Glove" Trongon shine on the softball field, he helps his team win games. The 85-year-old infielder says living in one of the most active senior communities in the country, The Villages, helps keep him on his toes.

According to Trongon, great fitness isn't the only benefit of being an 85-year-old softball player. He says being on a team gives him a sense of companionship.

Trongon is breaking stereotypes and showing people that age is nothing but a number!

He talks with Growing Bolder about what it feels like to be a role model for the older generation.
