Description

In the 1980s, he was one of the most feared pitchers in baseball and the best left-hander pitcher in the game. 20 years later, Frank "Sweet Music" Viola is still in the game he loves. He's moved from the mound to the dugout where he's teaching college players that skill alone won't get them to the next level. They need a little sweet music of their own.

I have very fond memories of Frank Viola playing for the Minnesota Twins, especially the 1987 World Series.

Great article.  We are fans and travel to see most home games in Leesburg.  Two grandsons are currently playing for The Lightning so we really do have a  strong interest in the team and the coach.
