Lauren Chapin burst into America's hearts playing Kathy "Kitten" Anderson on the TV show, "Father Knows Best."

But she made her biggest impact on the world as an adult, becoming a relentless fundraiser, teacher, manager and ordained Evangelist.

She explained to Growing Bolder why she has raised nearly $2 million in the past six years for various charities, including one close to heart, A Minor Consideration, which provides a support system for former child stars.

Lauren is a passionate advocate for teaching child stars the do's and don'ts of the world, and she speaks from experience. She told Growing Bolder about how her life spiraled out of control into an abyss of drugs of alcohol until 1979.
