Country music superstar Donna Fargo's songs aren't the only thing that's impressing -- her books, poems and political messages are just as remarkable.
In 1969, she was the Top New Female Vocalist and wrote the song "U.S. of A." in response to Watergate and now, almost 40 years later, she's making taking another political stance. Her newest single, "We Can Do Better in America" is her way of being a trend-setter; something she's used to.
Fargo, in her time, was one of the very few female country singers that wrote the songs she sang and was one of a handful of singers that crossed over to the Pop charts.
But Fargo isn't stopping at just making and writing music -- she's writing greetings cards, books and poems. She's even tried compiling the "Ten Golden Rules for Living."
She talks with Growing Bolder about her rules and how being diagnosed with a disease has affected her life.

Miss Donna Fargo is one such person and here she goes again. Her insight and appreciation to life itself provides such an inspiration to everyone. Her new song "WE CAN DO BETTER IN AMERICA" shows so many levels of talent and she can still tell us like it is. THANKS Donna....for reminding all Americans who we are, and what we are all capable of being!

Yes, Donna Fargo has truly said it all in her new single "We Can Do Better in America." A song all Americans need to hear. If you have not heard it, give your local DJ a call, you won't be sorry! It's a song that touches your heart and clearly inspires you to be a PROUD American. Keep up the good work DONNA!!!!!!
