CHRISTMAS IN JULY - A CHAPTER EVENT!

Christmas in July has been around in Canada for as long as I remember!

Many small towns celebrate it with some type of fun and some go as far as putting up lights!

Well, this year, I have decided to surprise my red hat chapter with "Christmas in July"
as I am a snowbird and always away when they have their Christmas
party. I give the hostess the left over money from the 'kitty' and she
buys little gifts for all our members.

Well I was in Palm Springs last December at the Red Hat Society's
convention and bought all kinds of wonderful treats which i plan to
wrap and surprise the gals with. I am even going to have a small
Christmas tree that I will take to the party with me. It's going to be
a garden party and the colours of the garden of the hostess's home will
be beautiful and colourful... a perfect Christmas summer affair!!
