A time of desperation and misdeeds

Corruption, greed, deceit, immorality, and idiocy… Plagues that spread throughout our society like a cancer. Those are some, but not all of what needs to be removed from society in order for all of us to live a decent and happy life. We sit before our televisions every day hearing the news on who was murdered here and who was raped there. I call it all complete blasphemy on the grounds of justice, liberty, equality and morality. I can say straight to the world that I am a person of fact, a person of contemplation. I am Agnostic.
Every day I hear people bash people who are Agnostic (Which happens to be a belief system in which you throw down religious rituals and the baggage of tradition and bring things more to a level of seriousness during patterns of thought. It is where we believe in the possibility of gods and the supernatural but we avoid it to shift towards an understanding that anything that happens on this earth except for nature on a mass scale is our responsibility. I personally believe in human capability and the possibilities of human ingenuity.) on the terms that they do not conform. Who ever said you had to conform to the will of everyone and everything? We are individuals with free will and are all equal by terms of whom and what we are.

I hear everyone blame what happens on this earth as it being the work or decision of some kind of god, but when you seriously consider what really goes on after long hours of contemplation and research... It shows more that we are at fault and anything that happens can be indirectly or directly affected by our actions. The human race needs to take more responsibility in my eyes.

Prejudice, intolerance, murder, rape, torture, bullying, robbery and fighting... Do we really need any of that going on? Why do people not step up and take initiative to battle such atrocities? I ask the world, why just sit there and let a select group of people such as a military or a police force handle all these problems? I personally think society should cooperate more, battle the problems instead of each other, and stop pouring blame on everything else. People complain about crime, but they would rather sit and watch the news and talk about it rather than do anything about it. I think it should be the responsibility of all society to crack down at no matter the cost. This nation on any term is a Democracy which in terms would make it: The people's nation. So the people should do more of their part than for themselves.

I say all of this out of the years I have been exiled and treated with cruelty by others for my beliefs, my personality.... and other such things... I know they have no right, and I have moved on... But why let others suffer through it day by day? Why let things happen and worry about them when the consequences or disaster affects you? The only way to secure a better functioning country is for the people to work together more. And by that I mean to stop their foolish abuse of the democratic system and work it towards a better form in order to solve our problems, rather than dividing and fighting amongst each other.

I honestly can say as someone who migrated down from New York about seven years ago can easily say that the American South is more intolerant of others, much more prejudice and division amongst residents... Those of you who may feel offended by anything I have said, feel free to post comments, I'd love to hear them. Any comment is a comment to a writer, for it is just text or speech from an unknown person.
