Posted 11:05 am February 8th, 2008I believe the "Hall of Fame" concept to recognize outstanding accomplishments by"Boomer" generation individuals is a great idea. In fact, the whole Growing Bolder concept is brilliant. Kudos to Marc, Bill, Andrea and the rest of the GB staff for bringing this concept to fruition.
All too often the over 50 generation is written off by a major segment of society, especially industry. Just try to find a meaningful job if you're over 50, and you'll find out real quick how much your many years of experience really means.
AARP has tried for years to promote the visibility and contributions of over 50 individuals. I have every confidence that Growing Bolder will expand on that concept, and will provide added incentive and motivation for us to be all that we can be, regardless of our age.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
