The Helix Nebula, dubbed "the Eye of God," is a planetary nebula that lies about 700 light-years away. It's a trillion-mile-long tunnel of glowing gases with a dying star at its center. Our own sun may look like this in several billion years. This is photo composite taken by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and at the Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona. It's the largest and most detailed celestial image ever made.
