Picture of the Day: The Burj Dubai - The World's Tallest Building
Developers announced recently that the completion date for the Burj Dubai has been pushed back from November, 2008 until September, 2009 - so that they can add a few more floors. The exact height at completion is a closely guarded secret but it's believed to between 2650 and 3000 feet, which would make it about twice as tall as The Empire State Building. The building will have the fastest elevators in the world with a speed of over 26 mph.
