Legendary Broadway performer who has won 5 Tony's. A superlative dramatic actress, Ms. Stritch also excelled in musical comedy, a genre she returned to off and on into the 90s.

After the Age of Seventy

• At age 72, who her 4th Tony as Best Actress for a revival of Edward Albee's "A Delicate Balance"
• At age 75, appeared in the movie Cocoon.
• At age 77, won her 5th Tony for her one-woman show, "Elaine Stritch at Liberty,"
• At age 81, won an Emmy award at 81 for playing Alec Baldwin's mother on 30 Rock.
• At age 83, continues to perform her Tony award-winning solo show, Elaine Stritch at Liberty.
