Tom Bosley
Posted May 10, 2008, 12:37 am in Television by Growing BolderFor a man who played an integral role in one of the most successful TV shows, Tom Bosley has made a name for himself on another stage -- Broadway.
Richie's father on "Happy Days," Bosley didn't start on the small screen. He won a Tony Award for his work in "Fiorello" in 1960. After three decades away from the stage, Bosley returned playing another father -- Belle's in "Disney's Beauty and the Beast."
He's made a mark on TV, Broadway and cartoon voice work with his stint as the voice of Harry Boyle in "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" in the early 1970s.
Bosley talks with Growing Bolder about how being a TV father is different from being a real father and grandfather.
