The photo is my mother a few years before I was born. She loved the beach. I now live in the same house I grew up in less than a mile from the beach. I've just started surfing again after nearly 30 years. It's invigorating and has motivated me to get back in shape. For the first time in years, I'm excited about the future and the possibilities it holds.
