I Wanna be Queen

Ladies, I am thinking of starting my own chapter but most of my friends are already in another group and don't want to step on anyones toes but how do I get people involved in my group? And any ideas for a new group would be most helpful. Also please share fun things we could do together, my group doesn't do much but eat out once a month. Thanks ahead of time. Lady Scarlette

To start your own chapter, go to this link on the official Red Hat Society website:
http://redhatsociety.com/membership/startChapter.html?  It has all the info you will need.

Hello, I know this is a tad late in replying, my computer went on holidays to la la land, but now it is back.    I started my own chapter after I had been invited to join Red Hats.  However, that Chapter was in another town and my girlfriend and I did not want to always be travelling so.....I registered with RHS and began my Chapter (Lavender Ladies) with just the two of us.   We are just over a year old now and have 25 members.   Members just come out of the wood work, and many were ladies I did not know but now have 15 new friends.    My name is Queen Histeria, Lady of Natter from the Lavender Roses, Northampton, Western Australia.   I am so glad I stumbled across this site when I was "surfing".   In Fun and Friendship

Thanks for your kind reply. I've taken your advice and started my own group. Scarlette Plumes of Hodges, S.C. now have three members besides myself. It is a pleasure to meet you. I am D'Onne Smith.

Greetings D'Onne Smith. Forming your own Chapter is a step into lots of fun. But a small word of advice, delegate all sorts of things right at the beginning to other members of your group. By doing that, you will not be the only person arranging things and you will then be able to fully enjoy yourself. April Poad also known as Queen Histeria, Lady of Natter.Red Hat Society

Morning,  Yes One thing I know from experience is that I must delegate. My sister is my Vice Queen and  she is a really diligent organized person with great ideas. Thanks again, D'Onne
