Thanks for the kind words. I see you are my new friend! Lovely. I am not notified when I get a new friend like one is supposed to be because of problems with navigating the GB site, but I'm happy to have you as a pal. Best to you....and Happy New Year!

Posted 5:50 am December 11th, 2008Hi Debbie, how are you, this is an answer to your comment, I think perhaps I better place it here
About those scented candles, I haven't seen them, but we do have electric candles in our tree and you can get these electric candle groups to put on the windowpane. They don't flickr I think. The flickering kind of electric candles in the tree I know too. They drive you nuts
I remember the real candles in the tree we used to have, (over 40 years ago) with a bucket of sand nearby just in case. Of course the candles would only burn for a short while, as it was much to dangerous. My father came home from a trip and he had bought oure first set of electric treecandles in England. Now that changed things!
We once had a meltdown outside, when Toussaint had placed a throw- away bbq on a plastic table. We could see the thing sink in deeper and deeper...

It is when kids go tricker treating, I know that much from watching tvseries
Here in the Netherlands they do that on nov. 11, with burning lantarns and singing songs. Sint Maarten it is called, I think perhaps those two holidays are originally the same fest? Do you know?
